The Pedrosas: Ricardo and Elena

Ricardo and Elena from Bong Sare on Vimeo.

We went straight to Tagaytay the day after the very successful W@W Video Fest (more about this on Thursday) to cover Ric and Elena’s wedding. And it was a riot from the get go!

Elena was just beaming the whole day, and with Ernest doing the coordination and Mimi+Karl shooting the stills, it never really made me wonder why. Ric, on the other hand, was shakingly nervous but still managed to crack some of his trademark witty one-liners. It was one helluva fun shoot all day long.

And I discovered that, like me, Elena is crazy about “Dirty, Sexy, Money” - a TV series from ABC that started in 2007 and ended abruptly November of last year - where she, just like me (again), first heard the song they picked for their SDE - “Somebody Loved” by The Weepies.

Half my body actually froze while editing this vid (no thanks to Tagaytay Midlands’ cold weather/gusty wind combo) and it took half an hour for me to completely thaw, but Ric pulling me aside and telling me how much he loved the vid made everything worthit.

To Ric and Elena, Best Wishes! ;)

Thanks to all who made my sister Elena’s and my new brother-in-law, Ric’s wedding so special and memorable. This video captured it so perfectly.

One question, what is the name of the song played on the video? I love it!

    Congratulations again, Yen and Ric.
