Pardon the number of blog entries (or lack thereof) this month. Well, weddings have been few and far between … which resulted to us having a few spare time in our hands … which we used to put ourselves back together after enduring a wedding-packed August. Rested and somewhat stress-free, it’s back to regular programming!
We ended September with an exclamation point by covering the wedding of Jay and Diane (Dawa). Remember Denden, our college buddy and Sagada/CamSur brethren, Dawa is Denden’s youngest sister. So in short, it’s very much like shooting our own little sis’ wedding.
Dawa is a workaholic. In fact, she was busy computing their business’ payroll while she was being made up. Oh, and her gown ended up a bit big for her because apparently … she lost weight. Now that’s one story I’m sure I’ll be hearing from her for a very, very, very long time. And it’s something I have to live with.
Jay is a skilled poker player. I’ve had a number of Texas Hold ‘em battles with him in the past and he’s one tough guy to beat. No way he’d give a tell even if it kills him. He’d raise even if he has nothing. He wouldn’t budge. He’ll bluff. And he’ll fight ’til the end. Skills I’m sure will help him in his chosen profession - Jay is a lawyer.
They handed us the job of song-picking and ended up using this Matt Nathanson song which CJ suggested. Oh, and you’ll see footages of their prenup shoot (with Denden) taken last summer when these guys took us on a 3D/2N “Beach House” vacation in Matuod, Batangas. Hmm and I heard they’re planning on taking us there again sometime in November. Right Margaux? Hehe

Thank you guys for the superb video coverage of my sister! Appreciate it a lot lalo na’t pangalawang wedding na ito na kinover niyo sa pamilya namin! Setting biases aside, I believe its one of your greatest works. Lamang lang ng konti sa AVP na ginawa mo Bong sa wedding ko! hehehe… In behalf of our family, Salamat salamat salamat!!! We’re all together watching the video in Bora (saling kit sa honeymoon!) and Jay’s incredibly proud having finished the 15 and still standing in cocomangas. But even though SOME of us are inebriated, we still had to watch the AVP one more time. Awesome job!!! It was so heartwarming and funny!!! I totally forgot that they were dancing when we were at the beach! I love that you used the video you took in Matuod! You guys are so welcome in the Beach House anytime!!! Just let us know when your schedules are maluwag and we’ll plan a trip! Kahit every month pa!!!
hey margaux! so kasama ka pala sa honeymoon ha … well bora is nice (there’s no disputing that) but i so love your beach house in matuod! the best yun! not even two or three boras can match that experience! and yes, we are more than willing to go back there with you guys (voice tingling with excitement)! thanks see you soon!

Jay and I kept on playing it over and over again. I paticularly loved the shot taken in the church, when I was about to walk down the aisle. Jay enjoyed the one taken in the hotel, with the effects and all, and the “isang pitik naman dyan”. 
We owe you guys big time! I promise beach house tayo…kahit every month pa. We’re going this month so let me know when you guys are free so I can arrange things for us. And para somehow makabawi naman kami sa inyo. 
CJ, thank you sa song. Ang ganda! Sama ka naman sa beach house, lagi ka nalang absent. Ayaw mo ba sa amin?
