Snapshots

A snapshot is a casual photograph taken without any particular pre-arrangement, often of everyday events or sightseeing excursions. Snapshots document moments in life more “truthfully”; that is, the photos tend to be more spontaneous and unstaged. - wikipedia.

These at-work snapshots were taken by Mimi & Karl:

I always say, if you’ve got dimps, flaunt it!

Editing an on-site beside the fireplace in Hacienda Isabella-Tagaytay. So uncool!

Must be something really serious.

Remember Netscape, the web browser that took Microsoft’s Internet Explorer to war during the 90s? We all know who won that, thanks to MS’s fantastic idea of including IE (for free) in all their Windows releases (lawsuits and payoffs in millions of dollars soon came after).
But does it make IE the best browser around? Err … NO!

Statistics show that most surfers still use IE (mainly because it’s included in Windows) but more and more are getting their hands on the hottest web browser in town … Mozilla Firefox! And this award-winning browser can be had for FREE!

Firefox is known for its download speed and a far superior user interface. It offers tabbed browsing, which means that users can jump back and forth between different sites with only one window open, and uses very little of your precious memory while at it. Another feature is its live bookmarks, which show users the most recent headlines on their favorite sites and lets them go straight to those articles.
And it is also regarded to have the best pop-up blocker around.

I am saying all these because I never thought that web surfing can get any better just by changing browsers. And also, most blogs, including ours, seem to work better with Firefox. Hmmmm But if you’ve got Microsoft blood flowing through your veins (which also means you have a legit Windows OS installed, like we do :)), I suggest you get Internet Explorer 7.

Yup, this fox is on fire! :)

Lacrimation

“Tears” are a liquid produced by the body’s process of lacrimation to clean and lubricate the eyes. The word lacrimation may also be used in a medical or literary sense to refer to crying. - wikipedia

Neil & Rosa’s On-Site AVP

Men, in general, don’t cry.

And if they do, they don’t brag about it to their friends.

But when a man really, really falls in love

Emotions will take the most out of him.

Neil & Rosa’s Wedding. 05.20.2007

Hey Mom!

This one’s for you. :)

Framed

We saw this from Fol Rana’s blog last year and shamelessly asked him for a copy. Being the nice person that he is , Fol gave us this instead:

He even wrote this for good measure: :)

And this, in a way, started our desire to collect non-wedding photos from our friends in the industry.

Last week, the second of our “growing” collection finally arrived, and it came from another great photographer - Dino Lara:

His message got everyone teary-eyed, and of course, there was Dino’s signature “signature”. :)

I just have one wish, that these guys become more famous so we can make millions out these signed goodies! :)

Wilby & Chato (May 6)

Here’s a goosebump-inducing on-site clip.

Carlos & Ayen - A Music Video (May 5)

Camera movements, in-car footages … almost everything in this clip was inspired by Carlos & Ayen’s favorite music video, Lifehouse’s “Hanging By A Moment” (which I saw only a few weeks ago as per Ayen’s request. :)). In fact, they like that video so much that they gamely (read: crazily) requested and did something none of our past couples dare do.

Watch and sing-along with Carlos & Ayen here.
